Background

I am a German native speaker who was born and raised in Germany. After I graduated in 2004 from Leipzig University, Germany, with a Master's Degree in Translation, I moved to the United States, where I now pursue my passion of translating on a freelance basis.

My studies allowed me to choose Computer Science as a second major, which gave me the valuable specialized knowledge I use today when working for clients all over the world.

I also have about 6 years of experience teaching foreign languages. It ranges from private tutoring of high school students to teaching Business English in small groups in a large international company. Often I gathered and created my own teaching material and adapted it to the individual student.
